Matthew Perry Foundation set up to help people with alcohol and drug addiction.
The Matthew Perry Foundation was launched Friday in honor of the late Friends actor, who struggled with unhealthy substance use for decades.
The foundation's website describes its mission as, "The realization of Matthew's enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction" The foundation was launched by the National Philanthropic Trust.
